Open Cell Spray Foam Insulation

Open cell spray foam insulation is a great choice for areas where you need an expanding foam insulation to fill the entire area to be insulated. Open cell spray foam insulation will expand up to about 3" which will normally fill the cavity in your walls. Because open cell spray foam insulation expands, it can get into tight spots that closed cell spray foam insulation can't. Open cell spray foam insulation has an R-value of about 3.5 per inch.

Open cell foam insulation also is a great soundproofing agent as once it's applied, it will completely fill the area between the studs in your walls.

Closed Cell Spray Foam Insulation

Closed cell spray foam insulation is a much thinner (about 1" of expansion) and denser insulation that does not expand as much as open cell spray foam insulation but it has a higher R-value of about 6 per inch. Closed cell insulation can be over 3 times as dense as open cell spray foam insulation. Closed cell spray foam insulation not only reduces heat loss but it also eliminates air infiltration and exfiltration providing the perfect seal. Our closed cell spray foam insulation has advanced adhesion and won't settle or move over time ensuring that it stays in place permanently.

Closed cell foam is great in areas where space is an issue as it can produce two times the R-value of open cell foam insulation. Our certified foam insulation technicians can apply a layer of closed cell spray foam insulation in your home, office, commercial building or agricultural building.
